The 'beer hang over' from Belgium
Watch out for your addiction to the Belgian beers. Or you will be looking for them wherever you go ! As I moved to Brazil, the happiest moment in Walmart was when I saw a bunch of Leffe blonde for sale. Though selling at 3 times the local price !!

Monday markt, thursday animal markt and Sunday Auto markt!!
Yes, I am again talking about cars... my favorite topic ;)
I am in process of selling my current car and heard about a market for selling cars, just like the typical vegetable or animal market ('markt') that you often see in all villages around Belgium. Concept is the same. Here is the link for those who might every be interested,
You could also go there to buy a car. Once you fix a deal, you could also pay for locked parking place for your car, until you get the new number plate and collect your car.
Be very careful though, as most of the cars there will be with some issues but if you are able to find the good ones, you might save some cash with proper bargaining.

I shall explain how it works..
Once you decide to sell your car, you can reserve a space to display your car by paying 50€ for monday-saturday or the same price for sunday alone! Sunday price is higher as they expect most number of exporters/dealers to be present there on sundays. Individuals or dealers can look at your car and contact you if interested. Expect a lot of bargaining there. Many of the buyers could be exporters from outside Belgium. You could also go there to buy a car.
